Sustainability in College Catering Report

Over the course of the 2025-26 academic year, the Cambridge Climate Society's policy team, alongside Plant Based Cambridge, produced a report assessing the proportion of plant-based catering of the Cambridge Colleges, including a comprehensive ranking.

The report found that not one college has achieved 50% of mains being
plant-based.

The Cambridge Climate Society would like to encourage all the colleges of the University of Cambridge to continue to improve their efforts on this front; some have far to go, but we would also like to commend the colleges that have clearly made efforts to make catering more sustainable.
